BROWNSON ARCHITECT 659 JOSEPHINE STREET DENVER, COLORADO 80206 Mr. Ted Shepard, Project Manager 281 N. College Ave. Box 580 Fort Collins, Co. 80522-0580 RE: Expansion of Taco Bell Dear Mr. Shepard, n rSEP 250 September 24, 1990 Unfortunately I will be out of the state when ,you have a meeting on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1990 regarding the expansion of Taco Bell on College Ave. I own the property at 1605 Remington St. so have been involved in the events that go on in that area. Also, on marry occasions, I have stayed at my property for a week or more at a time. I do not suppose there is much debate as to whether or not this development will go thru. My main concern is the crowd control, noise from kids hanging out (mostly minors), stereos blarring, fights, yelling, etc. I think you should check with the local police dept. and find out how often they -ie called there, sometimes with canine patrol. Also, why does Taco Bell stay open until 2 and 3AM. when Burger King and McDonalds close at 12PH? I'm sure it is only for the owner's interest in doing business, and he has shown NO concern in addressing the problem. I do not think it is in the best interest of the public to have their tax dollars being spent for nuisance control time and time again. 1-think this serious matter has to be addressed. ?Residential and commercial areas should be able to co -exist, but it C.ces Lake cooperation from all. Phat can we expect from the owners of Taco Bell) How do you plan to deal with this issue? Sincerely, ( Jacques C. Brownson JCM/dc
