HomeMy WebLinkAboutTACO BELL RESTAURANT 11.15.1990 NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING - 51-90 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING:nt Services Planning Department City of Fort Collins October 29, 1990 Dear Resident: On Thursday, November 15, 1990, at 4:00 p.m. in the Development Services Conference Room (281 North College Avenue -southwest corner of College and Maple), the Planning Department will hold a second neighborhood informational meeting to further discuss the proposed Taco bell planned unit development, located at the corner of Prospect Road and College Avenue. It was agreed at the first meeting on September 27, 1990, that a second meeting would be useful to discuss the project in greater detail. As you are aware, the proposal calls for the removal of the existing single family home at 1530 South College (Wickersham property) and the demolition of the present Taco Bell structure. In their place would be a new, larger Taco Bell restaurant, with drive-thru capability, on an expanded lot. In case you could not attend the first meeting, minutes are available from the Planning Department. The second meeting is intended to build upon the first meeting by presenting more detailed information on the Traffic Study, the site and landscape plan, and the architectural character. In addition, several of the compatibility issues raised by the neighbors will be further discussed. Please note that Taco Bell has not formally submitted plans to the Planning Department for review. The project is still in the conceptual stage. This means the earliest the P.U.D. (planned unit development) could be considered by the Planning and Zoning Board would be January 28, 1991. This letter is being sent to the same property owners that were notified of the first meeting. These owners were identified from the official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of rental situations, a few residents may have been missed. Please take the opportunity to notify your neighbor of this meeting, especially if these neighbors are renters.
