Part 2.
A problem has surfaced with the Sundisk project recently
completed by John Giuliano. There was landscaping proposed
in the form of street trees along Windmill, between the street
and back of fencing. This area was to be maintained by the
property owners of the newly created lots. This info
was shown on the utility plans and plat.
My question is: do you and/or your inspectors look at
such things as landscaping, if on the utility plans, and
try to assure that these things are being done? Or are
we assuming something here that we shouldn't be? Typically,
landscaping issues are inspected by the project planner and
Pete or Dan. Since this was a standard sub, the landscaping
items were put on the utility plans instead of a landscape
plan.
Let me know your thoughts on this one. Thanks!
