HomeMy WebLinkAboutWATERGLEN SOLAR ARRAY - FDP200013 - CORRESPONDENCE - APPLICANT COMMUNICATION (4)To Whom it May Concern,
Sandbox Solar will file construction permits with the Fort Collins building department. Upon
approval of the permits, then Sandbox Solar will contract Northern Engineering to mark all
property boundaries and equipment locations. Once these are marked then Sandbox Solar will
contract Temple Construction to construct the access/emergency access road to the site.
Temple construction has provided a letter describing the work to be done and the strategy in
order to prevent any work taking place on neighboring properties. Once the access road is
complete, then Sandbox Solar will be able to access its site without any disturbance to the
neighborhood. Our equipment for construction is a small: pickup trucks, mini -excavator, trailers,
and a boring machine. Sandbox Solar will use existing utility easements to underground bore
electrical lines from the meter location at the array to the transformer. No additional easements
will be necessary for the completion of this project. Anticipated time to construct this job is 2
months, and construction will occur only during normal business hours.
Thanks,
Ian Skor
