Develor rent Services Planning Department City of Fort Collins September 12, 1991 Mr. Ben Hatch CDS Engineering Corporation 100 West 29th Street Loveland, CO. 80538 Dear Ben: The Staff has reviewed the Wetland Mitigation Plan of the 1992 Southeast Elementary School, Poudre School District R-1, and offers the following comments: 1. Show the approximate location of the subdrain on the plan. 2. Indicate that the function of the subdrain must be maintained both during and after construction. 3. The City must also be notified prior to the beginning of construction of the storm sewer. Please add this to Note #6. 4. Indicate on the blow-up area, called "Wetland Mitigation Area", where the ditch will discharge into the pond. There shall be no planting of shrubs in this area. Only cattails are allowed so as to allow minimum impedance to storm flows. 5. Note #6 should read: 6" P.V.C. storm sewer subdrain pipe discharging into pond...' 6. Do not hinder flows through this pipe when creating the wetland mitigation. 7. Notify Parks and Recreation Department prior to work. 8. Please submit the revised final plan for attachment to the intergovernmental agreement. 9. The new pipe to replace the drainage ditch must be a minimum of.10 feet from any existing utility mains. 10. Please submit one print .of Sheet SD-3, referred to on the plan, to Mark Taylor, Water and Sewer Department, 700 Wood Street, 221-6681. 281 North College Avenue - P.O. Also attached, please find one red -lined sheet of comments which should be returned with revised plans.
