Dear Ben:
The Staff has reviewed the Wetland Mitigation Plan of the 1992
Southeast Elementary School, Poudre School District R-1, and offers
the following comments:
1. Show the approximate location of the subdrain on the plan.
2. Indicate that the function of the subdrain must be maintained
both during and after construction.
3. The City must also be notified prior to the beginning of
construction of the storm sewer. Please add this to Note #6.
4. Indicate on the blow-up area, called "Wetland Mitigation
Area", where the ditch will discharge into the pond. There
shall be no planting of shrubs in this area. Only cattails
are allowed so as to allow minimum impedance to storm flows.
5. Note #6 should read: 6" P.V.C. storm sewer subdrain pipe
discharging into pond...'
6. Do not hinder flows through this pipe when creating the
wetland mitigation.
7. Notify Parks and Recreation Department prior to work.
8. Please submit the revised final plan for attachment to the
intergovernmental agreement.
9. The new pipe to replace the drainage ditch must be a minimum
of.10 feet from any existing utility mains.
10. Please submit one print .of Sheet SD-3, referred to on the
plan, to Mark Taylor, Water and Sewer Department, 700 Wood
Street, 221-6681.
