The project is known as the City of Fort Collins East Vine Street Facility, Final P.U.D. The location is the Old Sugar Beet Factory at 725 East Vine Drive. The request is to convert the existing structures into administrative offices and utility yard for the City of Fort Collins Street Department. Other uses include outside material storage, indoor material storage, truck and heavy equipment parking and indoor shop. For the past two years, the City's Streets Department has periodically met with various Alta Vista, Buckingham, and Andersonville neighborhood representatives while planning the project. During these discussions, much of the neighborhood input has been included in the project. The purpose of the meeting on February 22 is to let people know where we are with the project. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 221- 6750.
