Dear Resident:
The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado, on Monday, July 22, 1991*, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers**, City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, will hold a public
hearing on two proposed projects in your neighborhood. The
proposed projects are commonly known as City of Fort Collins East
Vine Drive Streets Facility PIID, Overall Development Plan, #30-91
and East Vine Drive Streets Facility PIID, Preliminary, #30-91A.
The applicant for both items is the City of Fort Collins Streets
Department.
First, the Overall Development Plan proposes that the allowable
land uses on the entire 32.7 acres will be for outside storage of
materials (sand, asphalt, and gravel), truck and heavy equipment
storage, offices, indoor shop, stormwater detention, and future pad
site development on Linden Street.
Second, the Preliminary P.U.D. designates the specific site plan
layout for the City of Fort Collins Streets Department operation on
12.7 acres. This 12.7 acre area covers the existing structures and
how they would be converted to handle the Streets Department
operation.
Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff
consider your input on this matter, as well as your neighbor's
input, an extremely important element in the City's review of this
proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, written
comments are welcome.
This letter has been sent as a courtesy to all property owners of
record within 500 feet of the area based on current County
Assessor's records. If you should have questions or require
