Dear Bill,
I had a few additional comments on your proposal for a fast food restaurant/ car
wash center, which you presented at the February 4, 1991 Conceptual Review
meeting. These comments are related to Storm Drainage issues for both of your
items.
1. The area to the west of the Ditch can drain to the ditch. There is a
restriction that you have detention, if necessary, to maintain a release
rate of no greater than 0.87 cfs/acre.
2. The area to the east of the Ditch can not drain back to the Ditch. Storm
flows on the east side need to drain to the east. On site detention is
required.
3. The two. reports which contain these restrictions on storm drainage in this
area are: The Landings Master Drainage Plan and the Heart SID Drainage
Plan..
4. Additionally, the Storm Water Utility Department will re -study the whole
area in question in the next 6 months. You may want to wait until that
study is completed before proceeding with plans for the eastern site.
5. If you have any documentation showing other than these restrictions, or
which allow you to drain the eastern flows to the ditch, or anything else,
please provide —that documentation—to_us so that we may update our files.
