The development is composed mostly of loamy soils with some areas of sandy loam and some areas of clay loam. See attached exhibit. 2. The area east of Fossil Creek has some small outcroppings of sandstone and is mainly loam type soil. 3. The area west of Fossil Creek is composed of mostly clay loam in the flood plain and loam in areas where housing is proposed. 4. All the soils outside the flood plain should be suitable for residential foundations. Adjacent development (Southridge) has encountered few development constraints pertaining to soils conditions. 5. A thorough geotechnical investigation is currently underway. GROUND WATER 1. Forty test holes have recently been drilled for preparation of a detailed soils report. Of those holes, free groundwater was encountered in 17 of them at depths ranging from 3 1/2 ft. to 13 1/2 ft. No free groundwater was encountered in the remaining test holes. Water levels in the area are subject to change due to seasonal variations, irrigation demands on and/or adjacent to the site and the volume of flow in Fossil Creek. The adjacent Southridge Development has encountered very few ground water problems and we are not anticipating any major ground water problems with the Fossil Ridge Development. ----This-report-has been prepared under my direct supervision) and is to the -best of -my - knowledge, accurate.
