RM #314 DENVER, CO 805220 Staff has reviewed your submittal for EVERGREEN PARK, THE TOY SHED WTE- QWEST WIRELESS -TYPE I #50-91G, and we offer the following comments: ISSUES: Department: Current Planning 11 Issue Contact: Steve Olt Rick Lee of the Building Department indicated that the City will enforce various codes. Please be aware that Fort Collins is in a high wind location (100 mph) and with the appropriate attachment the proposed equipment could be secured to the existing monopole. Verify any electrical concerns per the 1999 National Electric Code. 9 Issue Contact: Steve Olt Dave Stringer of the Engineering Department indicated that the applicant will need to obtain an excavation permit for any work in the public right-of-way. Please contact Lance Newlin, at 416-2011 (cell) or 221-6605 (office), for assistance with a permit. 10 Issue Contact: Steve Olt The proposed new 6' high fence must be a cedar wood fence to match the existing fence. Chain link is not acceptable. 11 Issue Contact: Steve O The existing monopole must be painted the approved "O'Keefe Grey" and the new array must be painted to match.. Department: Engineering 2 no comment Issue Contact: Dave Stringer Page 1 Department: Light &Power 4 Issue Contact: Alan Rutz If the new facility will be fed from an existing electric meter and there is no change to the existing main electric panel, then no comment. If a new meter is required or if the building main electric panel is changing contact Light & Power as soon as possible. Please submit 5 copies of the Site Plan and Antennas & Outdoor Equipment Plans reflecting all changes made in response to this comment letter by Monday, October 8, 2001.
