The proposed development proposes 357 dwelling units and associated infrastructure meeting LUC requirements. The existing trees range from fair to poor/dead. As these trees were volunteers and natural. The tree species include Russian Olive (invasive species), Siberian Elm, Crack Willow, Cottonwood, Blue Spruce, Pear, Juniper, Plum, White Pine, Tatarian Maple, and Honey Locust. There are 16 groves of trees with varying stems, and 57 single trees. There will be 6 groves removed, and 36 trees removed to allow for earthwork, utilities installation, and associated infrastructure. The trees removed are predominately Russian Olive, Crack Willow, Siberian Elm and five (5) dead trees. Tree #1, Russian Olive, 3", Fair The tree is in conflict with the proposed parking lot access driveway, underground utilities, and a substantial amount of grading will occur within the dripline of the tree. Tree #3, Russian Olive, 3-9", Fair - The tree is in conflict with the proposed pool, underground utilities, and a substantial amount of grading will occur within the dripline of the tree. Tree #4, Siberian Elm, 8", Fair - The tree is in conflict with the proposed parking lot, retaining wall, underground utilities, and a substantial amount of grading will occur within the dripline of the tree. Tree #5, Crack Willow, 6 stems, 6-11", Fair+ The tree is in conflict with the proposed parking lot, retaining wall, underground utilities, and a substantial amount of grading will occur within the dripline of the tree. Tree #6, Russian Olive, 2-6", Fair The tree is in conflict with the proposed parking lot, retaining wall, underground utilities, and a substantial amount of grading will occur within the dripline of the tree. Tree #7, Russian Olive, 5", Fair The tree is in conflict with the proposed ditch access easement for the City of Fort Collins Parks. Tree #8, Crack Willow, 26", Poor The tree is in conflict with the proposed retaining wall, storm outfall pipes, and will be impacted by adjacent grading operations. Tree #G1, Cottonwood Grove, 3 trees @ <6", Fair The grove is in conflict with the proposed ditch access easement for the City of Fort Collins Parks. Tree #G2, Russian Olive Grove, 8 trees @ <11", Fair -Poor The grove is in conflict with the proposed ditch access easement for the City of Fort Collins Parks. Tree #G4, Cottonwood Grove, 2 trees @ 4", Good The grove is in conflict with the proposed ditch access easement for the City of Fort Collins Parks. Tree #10, Cottonwood, 6", Fair - The tree is in conflict with the proposed storm pipe and outfalls, there is a substantial amount of grading at the eastern edge of the trees to accommodate the future College Avenue Roadway expansion. Tree #G5, Russian Olive Grove, 8 trees @ <11", Fair+ The grove is in conflict with the proposed ditch access easement for the City of Fort Collins Parks. Tree #G7, Cottonwood Grove, 3 trees @ 4-13", Dead The grove is dead. Tree #19, Plum, 12", Dead The tree is dead. Tree #23-32, Russian Olive, 10 trees @ <11", Fair+ The trees are in conflict with the proposed parking lot, building, garage, underground utilities, and a substantial amount of grading will occur within the dripline of the trees. Tree #G9, Cottonwood Grove, 5 trees @ 2-4", Fair The tree grove is in conflict with grading for detention. Tree #33, Crack Willow, 6", Fair The tree is in conflict with grading for detention. Tree #34, Siberian Elm, 4 stems, no rating The tree is in conflict with a proposed trail, and will have extensive amount of grading within the dripline. Tree #G10, Siberian Elm + Russian Olive Grove, 13 SIB stems 2-7", 6 RUS stems <11", Fair The tree grove is in conflict with a proposed trail, roadway that connects to triangle dr. and will have an extensive amount of grading within the driplines. Tree #35, Cottonwood, 7 stems @ 2-8", Fair+ The trees are in conflict with a proposed trail, roadway that connects to triangle dr. and will have extensive amount of grading within the driplines. Tree #G11, Cottonwood Grove,11 trees @ 3-23py, Fair+ The tree grove is in conflict with a proposed trail, roadway that connects to triangle dr. and will have an extensive amount of grading within the driplines. Tree #G12, Russian Olive + Siberian Elm Grove, 15 stems @ <11", Fair/Dead The tree grove is in conflict with a proposed trail, roadway that connects to triangle dr. and will have an extensive amount of grading within the driplines. Most of the grove is dead. Tree #36, Russian Olive, 15", Fair+ The tree is in conflict with a proposed, roadway that connects to triangle dr. and will have an extensive amount of grading within the dripline. Tree #37, Siberian Elm, 3", Poor The tree is in conflict with a proposed, roadway that connects to triangle dr. and will have an extensive amount of grading within the dripline. Tree #38, Siberian Elm, 13 stems @ >11", Fair - The tree is in conflict with grading for the multi family building, and will have substantial amount of grading within the dripline. Tree #39, Russian Olive, 12", Fair The tree is in conflict with grading and construction of the ditch that will be piped within the dripline. Tree #40, Russian Olive, 16", Fair+ The tree is in conflict with grading and construction of the ditch that will be piped within the dripline. Tree #41-45, Russian Olive, 5 trees @ <11", Good The trees are in conflict with a proposed trail, roadway that connects to triangle dr., detention grading effecting the driplines. Tree #46, Russian Olive, <11", Fair+ The tree is in conflict with a proposed building, and will be removed due to the ditch being piped. Tree #47, Russian Olive, <11", Fair+ The tree is in conflict with grading for detention and wetland mitigation efforts. Tree #48, Russian Olive, <11", Fair+ The tree is in conflict with grading for detention and wetland mitigation efforts. Tree #G13, Cottonwood Grove,118 stems @ 2-24", Fair/Good (partial removal) The grove will be partially removed due to the construction of townhome buildings, roads, sidewalks, utilities, and grading for said infrastructure. The southern portion of the grove will be protected in place. Tree #55, Cottonwood, 46", Poor/Hazard The tree is a hazard tree. Tree #G14, Cottonwood Grove,124 stems @ 2-18", Fair/Good The grove will be partially removed due to the construction of a road, sidewalks, utilities, and grading for said infrastructure. The northwestern and southeastern portions of the grove will be protected in place. Tree #58, Honeylocust, 4", Fair -/Poor The tree is in conflict with grading a retaining wall. Tree #S7, Bur Oak, 7", Fair - The tree is in conflict with the proposed parking lot access. Although the tree is not in direct path of the drive approach, it is approximately 10 ft from the edge of curb and may present sight distance issues for vehicles making right turns onto Triangle.
