The project is known as Kingston Woods Second Filing. At the Planning and Zoning Board meeting, the Board raised concerns about notifying prospective home buyers that the property east of Richmond Drive, known as Horsetooth Commons PUD and Horsetooth Commons Overall Development Plan, had the potential of being developed for commercial uses. The Board asked about the possibility of posting a sign on the Horsetooth Commons property which states that the property was designated on the approved Overall Development Plan as a future neighborhood convenience shopping center. Planning staff discussed these concerns with the developer of Kingston Woods Second and was informed that Horsetooth Commons was under separate ownership. Staff would like you to consider, in conjunction with other property owners of commercial lots at Horsetooth Commons, posting such a sign. The sign would serve both -to—notify—potential home buyers of future land uses that could occur on the east side of Horsetooth Commons; and--to—pr-epa-r_e the neighborhood, well in advance, of future commercial development plans for your property. If you have any questions about the proposed development, please do not hesitate to give me a call. Sincerely, Kirsten Whetstone City Planner 281 North College Aventic • 11.0.
