Dear Property Owner:
On Thursday January 2, 1992, at 7:00 p.m., at the John Clarke family home and photography
studio, located at 706 E. Stuart Street*, the staff of the Planning Department will hold a
neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood.
The applicant is proposing to convert the existing in -home photography studio at 706 E. Stuart
into a photography and fine arts seminar/educational facility.
The project, to be known as Springwood Institute PUD (Planned Unit Development), is proposed
as an instructional facility for a select group of artists and photographers (both students and
instructors) from all over the world. The instructors and students would be housed and fed on
site. Each seminar would last approximately 4 days. A live-in property manager will maintain
the facility, cook meals, clean, etc. Minor interior remodeling will be required to add
bathroom and bedroom space. No exterior changes are proposed to the existing building or
landscaping.
The applicant will be in attendance to present more information and to answer questions that you
might have regarding this proposal.
The list of affected property owners being notified for this neighborhood meeting is derived from
official records at the Larimer County Assessor's Office. Because of the lag time between
property sales and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property
owners may have been missed. Please feel fm,- to notify your neighbors of this pending meeting
so that all neighbors may have the opportunit! to attend.
