Dear Sherry:
This is a request, on behalf of Jeff Laughren, for a variance to the
Solar Orientation Ordinance that requires 65% of single family lots to have
their front lot lines within 30' of an East—West line.
Only 15 lots out of the 48 lots meet this requirement, which is 31.25%.
We feel this variance is justified because this project is a replat of a
plat that was approved in August 1979. The utilities, the curb and gutter
and the detention pond have been constructed, so there is no practical way
to change the lots.
