Dear Dana,
on May 25, 1992, the Speights PUD was given_final approval by the
Planning and Zoning Board, with a condition that Utility Plans and
the Development Agreement be approved and signed pri-or.-to the next
monthly Planning and Zoning Board Hearing on June 22, 1992. At the
June 22nd hearing, Staff requested a one month extension of the
conditional approval until the July 27, 1992 hearing.
If you anticipate the need for additional extensions, you must
notify the Planning Department in writing at least one week prior
to the Planning and Zoning Board Hearing. Planning Staff will not
initiate further, extension requests. Include in your written
extension request, any unusual circumstances which apply to the
project and which have created a delay in getting the Utility Plans
and Development Agreement approved.' Please include the length of
extension needed, ie. 2 months, 6 months, 10 months...
If we do not receive written notice by July 20, 1992, the extension
request will not be on the July 27, 1992 Planning and Zoning Board
hearing agenda. There is a possibility that the project would lose
it's approval and you would then be required to resubmit the
project and go through the 7-week review.process again.
