HomeMy WebLinkAboutMOUNTAIN FARM PUD SECOND FILING FINAL - 18 92D - CORRESPONDENCE - VARIANCE REQUEST (2)Interoffice Memorandum Date: 6/1/1999 To: Cam McNair, City Engineer From: Mark McCallum, Development Review Engineer RE: Mountain Ridge Fanns, P.U.D. 2nd Fling The applicant for Mountain Ridge Farms, _ Filing is requesting a variance to section 1.02.03.03 and Table 2 in the "Design and Construction Criteria, Standards and Specifications for Streets, Sidewalks, Alleys, and Other Public Ways" in order to reduce the minimum centerline radius to 185 feet as opposed to the required minimum of 240 feet. See the attached copies of the variance from Loonan & Associates. It is my opinion that this is a simple variance request with minimal impact to the public street system as a whole. Consequently, I can support the variance request to reduce the minimum radius from 240 feet to 185 feet based on paragraph #2 of Loonan and Associates formal variance request letter (See highlighted portion of text). I would include more insight, but I feel that is all that needs to be mentioned. If there are any questions, please let me know. Sincerely, Mark McCallu Cc: Ted Shepard
