Dear Resident/Property Owner:
On Thursday, May 25, 2000, at 3:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the
conference room of the Current Planning Department, 281 North College Avenue, Fort
Collins, CO., 80524, the City of Fort Collins Administrative Hearing Officer will conduct
an Administrative Hearing to consider the Best Buy Major Amendment, #29-92B.
Best Buy, a retail store located at 4040 South College Avenue, is requesting to enlarge
the existing 28,521 square foot store by adding on 14,248 square feet along the north
and east sides of the existing store. With the addition, the new total would be 42,769
square feet. In conjunction with this proposed building addition, Best Buy proposes to
construct a new parking lot, consisting of 80 parking spaces, on the vacant parcel north
of the existing store and east of Fountainhead Shopping Center, and west of J.F.K.
Parkway.
The affected property owners list for this public hearing is derived from official records of
the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have
been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all
neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
