RE: Bauder Elementary School
Administrative Review
Dear Sherry,
The following comments are in response to comments of your letter
of June 19, 1992 concerning the Bauder Elementary School Advisory
Review:
1. Gas loads have been furnished to Public Service Company.
2. The District will assume landscaping and maintenance
responsibilities in the Public Right of Way.
3. Drive around access from the school will be maintained. RE:
Landscape Plan showing gravel surfaces. Have reviewed with
Warren Jones.
4. Utility changes include a new water service shown on Site
Plan.
5. A drainage study is in process. Phil Robinson of Stewart
and and Associates is coordinating with Storm Drainage. The
6. area is being looked at, drainage wise, from the required
site detention requirements, and also improvements at the
time when Prospect Street is widened. The present planned
additions incorporate no major site changes, per say.
7. Phil Robinson will respond to the erosion control at the
site.
8. Phil Robinson is reviewing the noted Storm Drainage Report.
Robb. Brenner an'M rekg, Inc
9. It should be noted that no sidewalks exist on the west side
of Prospect Street, thus the use for ramps is not really
appropriate. We do, however, have ramps at the curb cuts at
the bus drop off area.
10. There is an existing bike/pedestrian tie to the development
directly south of the school. This shows on the site plan.
11. Items A, B and C have been sent to you in a letter.
D. Vicinity map is also enclosed in this last submittal.
12. The School District at this point has no plans to replace
the fencing along the west property line.
13. New landscaping plan is shown, enclosed. Note some areas
are a mixture of playground gravel and vegetation.
This concludes our response to your items of your letter of June
19, 1992. We are planning on Administrative Review being heard
at the August 3rd meeting. Please call me if you have any
questions.
