Dear Resident:
On Wednesday, October 21, at 7:00 p.m., at McGraw Elementary
School (4800 Hinsdale Drive)*, staff of the Planning Department
will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss an
annexation and development proposal in your neighborhood. The
applicant will be in attendance to answer any questions that you
might have.
The proposal is for the annexation to the City of Fort Collins and
zoning of a 15 acre parcel of County property and for a residential
development for approximately 25 single family lots located west of
Shields Street and south of Fossil Creek Drive (extended). The
applicant is also proposing a veterinary clinic at the southwest
corner of Shields Street and Fossil Creek Drive (extended).
The site is currently zoned FA-1, Farming, in the County and is
within the Fort Collins Urban Growth Area. The applicant has
submitted a proposal to zone the property RLP, Low Density Planned
Residential, with a Planned Unit Development condition.
The list of affected property owners being notified for this
neighborhood meeting is derived from official records at the
Larimer County Assessor's Office. Because of the lag time between
property sales and record keeping, or because of rental situations,
a few affected property owners and residences may have been missed.
Please feel free to notify your neighbors of this pending meeting
so that all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
