I will be building an additional structure on the northwest corner of my 0.26 acre property. The
small home will be a one story, 912 sq ft with 1 Bedroom + Office and 2 baths.
I am looking to add aging in place features in the home as I am planning to stay in this home for
the long haul. The home will incorporate energy efficiency in all applicable ways. The home will
be structured in order to add solar in the near future, I am planning to keep the design of the
home in line with the original 1937 Spanish style home on the front of the properthome in line with the original 1937 Spanish style home on the front of the property.
LANDSCAPE PLAN
The landscaping will be minimal and fall in line with xeriscaping. I will use recycled concrete for
the small driveway and south side of the home. There will be permeable artificial turf in the
courtyard area at a 120 sq ft minimum with potted plants around the courtyard. I plan to lay
mulch or rocks or a mixture of both around the western, northern and eastern parts of the home.
EXISTING TREES
There are no existing trees on the property that would require COFC approval
for removal.Existing trees on site will be preserved and protected.
PARKING PLAN
A small driveway will enter front the west next to the new structure. The driveway
