Per the building code we will upsize the service line after the meter to meet IPC Appendix E as noted on the plumbing plans. The fire suppression design is a deferred submittal to be designed by a registered engineer. The engineer will be required to review the combined tap size, city pressure, and sizes noted on the civil and plumbing drawings. The fire suppression engineer shall notify plumbing and civil engineers of any design changes required for their system once designed. • 2 unit buildings - 1” tap & meter • 3 unit buildings - 1” tap & meter • 4 unit buildings - 1.5” tap & meter • Amenity Building & Maintenance Garage – 2” tap & meter Sincerely, Jeff Given, P.E.
