Dear Kendra,
This is the feasibility request regarding the removal of three street trees within the right-of-way
along Ziegler Rd. adjacent to the Southeast Community Center Project site at Rock Creek Drive
and Ziegler Road. The trees, marked for removal on L1.01 – Tree Mitigation Plan, were located
during the site survey. and identified during an on-site meeting with City Forestry on 10/24/2025.
The three trees to be removed are Quercus macrocarpa ranging from 6”-9” DBH and in Fair to
Fair+ health. The tree removal is required to provide vehicle access to the planned Community
Center. The remaining 29 trees located on site are marked to protect in place. Mitigation measures
will include replacement of existing trees on site with the number required by City Forestry.
