MOVEMENT, COMPLEMENTING THE ORNAMENTAL SHRUB BEDS.
10.ALONG MCCLELLAND DRIVE, A PEDESTRIAN PROMENADE SHALL BE PROVIDED. ALONG THE PEDESTRIAN PROMENADE IT IS INTENDED, WHEN FEASIBLE, THAT BUILDINGS ALONG THIS FRONTAGE FEATURE A 10' SETBACK OR BUILD-TO' LINE. COMMERCIAL
BUILDINGS SHALL PROVIDE AN ENTRYWAY AND OTHER ELEMENTS OF VISUAL INTEREST CONSISTENT WITH LAND USE CODE STANDARDS, WHILE MULTI-UNIT OR MIXED-USE RESIDENTIAL USES SHALL FEATURE AN ELEVATED FIRST FLOOR, PORCHES,
AND/OR COURTYARDS, THAT ARE DETAILED WITH ELEMENTS SUCH AS DECORATIVE WALL SURFACES, LANDSCAPING, PLANTERS, AND/OR SIMILAR ELEMENTS TO ADD VISUAL INTEREST AND DEFINE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SPACE. THIS SPACE WILL

11.FOR INTERNAL STREETS WITH ON-STREET PARKING, THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER WILL MOSTLY CONSIST OF TREE LAWNS AND EVENLY SPACED STREET TREES, PROVIDING SHADE AND EASY CAR EGRESS. AT STREET CORNERS OR WITHIN LARGER
SHRUB/TREE FILTRATION BEDS, ORNAMENTAL SHRUB BEDS WILL BE PLACED, SET BACK 12 INCHES FROM THE CURB TO ALLOW PEDESTRIANS TO EXIT THEIR CARS.
12.DRAKE ROAD IS IDENTIFIED IN THE MIDTOWN PLAN AS A KEY STREETSCAPE NODE WITHIN THE GARDEN DISTRICT CHARACTER AREA AND IS IDENTIFIED TO FEATURE STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS THAT INCLUDE BENCHES, PLANTERS, TRASH
