There are three (3) species of trees on site including: boxelder, white ash, and white fir. As depicted on the mitigation plan, a total of three (3) trees are to be removed. The reason for tree removal is due to the development of Touchmark Fort Collins and the proposed buildings on site. The following trees are proposed to be removed: Tree #1, #2, and #3 (as associated with the Tree Mitigation List on the Tree Mitigation Plan of this submittal). Further explanation for the removal of these trees is found below. Tree #: 1. A boxelder is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with a proposed building. 2. A white ash is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with a proposed building. 3. A white fir is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with a proposed building. A more detailed depiction of the location of trees which are being removed in relation to the proposed site plan can be found on the Mitigation Plan included in this submittal. To mitigate for the removed trees which have been deemed to provide value by the City Forester, replacement trees at the required size will be planted on site per Division 5.10.1(F)(1) of the Fort Collins Land Use Code.
