Water Tap, Meter, & Service Memo
The following chart depicts the unit type, number of units per type, and typical size of the tap and meter.
The unit types that do not have a cold water service (CWS) size listed shall remain at the size of the tap
and meter. For the unit types that have a larger cold water service (CWS) listed, the piping will remain at
the size of the tap and meter until a minimum length of 5’-0” has been reached, at which point the cold
water service (CWS) shall be upsized as indicated.
