What hardship prevents this site from meeting the requirement?
The sewer connection proposed at the southeast end of the site is the only tie-in possible. A sanitary
sewer tie-in location east of the site in Buckingham Street was evaluated but did not have capacity or
depth. Another sanitary sewer tie-in location was evaluated at the intersection of 3rd Street and
Logan Ave but did also not have sufficient capacity and depth to serve the site.

What alternative is proposed for the site?
A 245 foot long concrete encasement is proposed for the section of sanitary sewer that does not
meet the minimum depth of 4' specification set out in Section 4.06 E. The concrete encasement shall
be constructed per Fort Collins sanitary sewer concrete encasement detail WW-6. '
