RE: Spriaq Creek villaqe Praliminarp P.U.D.
Dear Frank:
At the July 26, 1993 regular meeting of the City of Fort Collins
Planning and Zoning Board, the Board took the following actions:
1. The Board voted 4- 2 to deny the request to increase the
amount of unrelated persons who may reside in 66 of the
dwelling units.
2. The Board yoted 3- 3 on a motion to approve the Preliminary
P.U.D., subject to the four conditions listed in the Staff
Report, with the addition of bhe following condition:
A. The recommendation of approval is further conditioned
upon providing additional buffering on the south side of
the project.
The tie vote equates to the motion failing. The Planning and
Zoninq Board, therefore, failed to approve the request for
Preliminary P.U.D.
3. The Board voted 6- 0 to postpone consideration of the
Preliminary P.U.D. to August 23, 1993, subject to the
applicant and the affected property owners meeting to discuss
possible areas of modification to the plans based on the
comments raised at the public hearinq.
Please contact the Planning Department at your- earliest convenience
if you would like to arrange such a meeting. It is anticipated at
this time that a meeting during the week of August 9, 1993 is
appropriate since this would follow the deadline of the appeal
period.
