Please fi.nd enclosed an executed Petition for Annexation
re].ative to twenty-one acres of property owned by nuerk Colorado
Propert:ies, L�td. As you know, the pur_pose of the annexation of.
this property to City limits is to ultimately a]_]ow the inclusion
of this acreage into t.he boundaries of the South I�emay Special
Improvement District. I have at.tached maps and a legal
descri.ption to the Annexation Petition although you may wish to
use i�he map and legal descri.ption wh�ch you had prepared in
conjunction with the Petition for Inclusion of the i�wenty-one
acres into l:he SID boundaries.
We would appreci_ate confirmat.ion of the scheduled date of
the hear.ing of this matter be£ore the Cil.y Counc.il. We are
assuming at this time that the date of considerati�n wi:l] be
�ebruary 17, 1987. Should you need any additional in£ormatian,

PETITION F'OR ANNEXATION
�
THE UNDERSIGNED hereby petition the Council of the City of
F'or.t Collins, Colorado, for the annexation o£ an area, to be
re£erred to as the Dueck Colorado Proper.t.ies, 1�td. Annexat.ion to
the City of Fort Collins. Said area, consisting of approximately
21.02 acres is more particularly described on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto.
The petitioners allege:
]_. That i.t is �esirable and i:�cessary that such area be annexed
to the City of Fort Coll.ins.
2. r['hat the requ�.r_ements of Sections 31-12-104 and 31-12-105,
C.R.S. 1973, exist or have been met.
3. `Phat not less than one-si_xth of the perimeter of_ the area
proposed to be annexed is contiguous with the boundaries oL
the City of Fort Collins.
4. That a community of interest exists between the area
proposed to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins.
5. That the area to be annexed is urban or wi.l.l be urbanized in
the near future.
6. That the area proposed to be annexed is integrated with or
capable of being integrated with the City of_ Fort Collins.
7. That the petitioners herein comprise more than :f.ifty per.cent
(500) of the landowners in the area and own more than fi.fty
percent (50o) of the area to be annexed, excluding pub]._ic
streets, alleys and lands owned by t.he City o£ F'ort Collins.
WHEREFORE, said petitioners request the Council o.i tiie City
of Fort Collins approve the annexation o.f said area.
Fur.thermore, the petitioners request that said area be p]_aced in
the fi-B (Flighway Business) zoning district pursuant to Chapter
1]_8 (Zoning) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins.
Th.is Petition may be signed in counterparls by each
petitioner hereto and all such counterparts shall constitute one
agreemeni:.
