REQUEST FOR ANNEXAT I O N PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: The "Vine Business Park" as the property will be referred to, formerly the Schnorr Farm, is located on the northwest quadrant of the crossing of E. Vine Drive over Interstate Highway 25. The property is therefore bounded by E. Vine Drive on the south, I-25 on the east, Anheuser-Busch property to the north, and Larimer County agricultural land to the west. REASONS FOR ANNEXATION: The Vine Business Park property should be annexed into the City of Ft. Collins at this time for the following reasons: * This property is within designates? City of Ft. Collins Urban. Growth Area; it is policy to annex when property is within such growth area. * The Applicant is eager to work with the City of Ft. Collins in efforts to accommodate the Fort Collins Expresswav and I-25 Interchange within the Vine Corridor alternative bisecting this property. * The combination of expressway routing and incorporation of property into municipal boundaries would result in Sales Tax benefits to the City of Ft. Collins. * This property is directly south of the Anheuser-Busch Company's business/industrial development and could complement such development. * More than one -sixth of the property's perimeter is contiguous with the City of Fort Collins municipal boundaries, with compatible zoning.
