Existing Tree Removal Feasibility Letter
This letter is intended to supplement the Mitigation Plan included in the Salud Family Health Center at
FDP submittal. Many of the existing trees on the site consist of Siberian elms that are either dead or in
poor condition.
As depicted on the mitigation plan, a total of twenty-seven (27) trees are to be removed and one (1) to
remain or transplanted. With the development of this site as a Family Health Center, the existing trees
mist be removed. Factors such as new roadways and improvements, parking standards, and the
construction of a new facility contribute to the reasons why these trees must be removed.
The following trees are proposed to be removed as associated with the Tree Mitigation List on the Tree
Mitigation Plan.

1. A White Poplar in FAIR – condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.
2. A Siberian Elm in POOR condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.
3. A White Poplar in HAZARD condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.
4. A Siberian Elm in POOR condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.
5. A Siberian Elm in POOR condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.
6. A Siberian Elm in POOR condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.
7. A Siberian Elm in POOR condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.
8. A Siberian Elm in POOR condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.
9. A Siberian Elm in DEAD condition stump to be removed.
10. A Boxelder in DEAD condition stump to be removed.
11. A Aspen in FAIR - condition to be removed due to grading and roadway conflicts.

A more detailed depiction of the location of trees which are being removed in relation to the proposed
site plan can be found on the Mitigation Plan included in this submittal. To mitigate for the removed
trees which have been deemed to provide significant value by the City Forester, replacement trees will
be provided at the increased size per Division 3.2.1 (F)(1) of the Fort Collins Land Use Code.
