Accord- ing to policies and agreements between the City of Fort Collins and Larimer County contained in the INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE FORT COLLINS URBAN GROUTi'H AREA, the City will annex property in the UGA when the prop- erty is eligible for annexation according to State law. The property gains the required 1/6 contiguity to existing city limits from a comrnon boundary with the Buckingham Place Annexation (1906), East Lincoln Avenue First Annexation (1973), the Northeast Consolidated Annexation (1974). The requested zoning for this annexation is the RC, River Corridor. 2. Zoning The requested zoning for this annexation is RC, River Corridor. The dis- trict was established as a recommendation of the Poudre River Plan. Among the uses allowed are "recreational uses" which the Link-n-Greens golf course falls under. 3. Findings 1.) the annexation of this area is consistent with the policies and agree- ments between Larimer County and the City of Fort Collins contained in the INTERGOVERNMEI�TTAL AGREEMEI�7T FOR THE FORT COLLINS URBA�d GROWI'H AREA. 2.) The area meets all criteria included in State law to qualify for a voluntary annexation by the City of Fort Collins. 3.) On September 1, 1987, the City Council will consider a resolution ini- tiating the annexation process for this property. Ordinances annexing and zonir� the property will be considered by the City Council in October. 4.) The requested RC, River Corridor, zoning district is in conformance with the policies of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
