Dear Ms. Whisler,
On January 30, 1987, I sent a letter to you indicating the City of Fort
Collins would like you to annex a piece of property which you own located
south of Lincoln Street and north of the Poudre River. This request for
annexation is based on a clause in the Out of City Sewer Service Aareement
which you signed for the proper�y, in my Januar,y 30, 1987, letter, I indi-
cated I had enclosed an annexation petition for you to sign. The letter
was inadvertently mailed without the annexation petition.
Enclosed with this letter, you will find an annexation petition which
requires your signature, an attornPy's certification of ownership, and the
signature of a Notary Publie. Please complete the enclosed annexation
petition and return it to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
The undersigned hereby petition the Council of the City of Fort Col-
lins, Colorado, for tlZe annexation of an area, to be referred to as the
Link-N-Greens Annexation to the City of
Fort Collins. Said ar,ea, consisting of approximately __ 41.3564.
acres is more particularly described on Attachment "A", attached hereto.
The petitioners allege:
1. That it is desirable and necessary that such area be annexed to
the City of Fort Collins.
2. That the requirements of Sections 31-12-104 and 31-12-105, C.R.S.
1973, exist or have been met.
3. That not less than one-sixth of the perimeter of the area proposed
to be annexed is contiguous with the l�oundaries of the City of
Fort Collins.
4. That a community of interest exists between the area proposed to
be anne�ed and the City of Fort Collins.
5, That the area to be annexed is urban or will be urbanized in the
near future.
6. That the area proposed to be annexed is integrated with or capable
of being inteqrated with the City of Fort Collins.
'7. That the ar,iendment to Article II of the Constitution of the State
of Colorado, passed on November 4, 1980, establishing the require-
ment that an annexing municipality receive a petition for annexa-
tion signed by more than 50'� of the landowners i,n the area owning
more than 50� of the.land in the area, exclusive of streets and
alleys, has been complied with.
Wf-�REFORE, said petitioners request that the Council of the City of
Fort Collins approve the annexation of said area. Furthermore, the peti-
tioners request that said area be placed in the RC - River Corridor
_ Zoning Dis-
trict pursuant to Chapter 118 (Zoning) of the Code of the City of Fort Co1-
lins.
