July 19, 2000
Dear Resident:
On Monday, July 31, 2000, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Faith Evangelical Church, 4825 South
Lemay Avenue, the City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will hold a neighborhood
information meeting to discuss The Lodge at Miramont, Preliminary Planned Unit Development
(P.U.D.), #54-87AP.
This will be the third neighborhood meeting for this project. The first was held on February 8, 2000,
the second was held on May 1, 2000. Minutes to these first two meetings are available.
The purpose of the third meeting is to discuss traffic operations and transportation issues. Members
of these city departments will be on hand to discuss issues that were raised at the previous two
meetings. Of course, any other issues may also be discussed as the meeting is not limited to just
these specific areas.
This is a multi-family project located at the northwest corner of South Lemay Avenue and Boardwalk
Drive. The site borders Miramont Park and is south of Collinwood Assisted Living Center. (Please
see map on reverse.)
As proposed, the project consists of nine buildings with a total of 108 dwelling units. There will also
be a community/office building. The proposal includes a combination of parking enclosed within the
buildings, detached garages and surface parking. The buildings are three-stories in height (39 feet
at the ridgeline) with the ends of the buildings dropping to two stories and one story.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records
of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record
keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed.
Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the
opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 970-221-6750.
Sincerely,
, cu.
