On Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the regular meeting of the City of Fort Collins Planning
and Zoning Board, the Board voted 5— 0 to approve The Standard Project Development
Plan #PDP160035, subject to the following two conditions:
1. Prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for Building B, the
applicant shall provide to the City of Fort Collins a copy of a fully executed
contract made between the applicant and a bona fide shared car service
that serves the Fort Collins region, to the extent that such a shared car
service is available and willing to serve the project. Such contract shall
stipulate that no less than three shared cars must be parked in the parking
garage, at grade level, near the entrance, for a cumulative period of seven
years. Further, the parking spaces for the shared cars shall be provided at
no charge to the shared car service. In the event that no shared car service
is available and willing to serve the project as provided above, the
applicant may satisfy this condition by procuring fifteen off-site parking
spaces for use by residents of the project. Any changes to this condition of
approval must be administered as a Minor Amendment.
2. Upon the opening, operation and management of the apartments, the
applicant must establish a committee, consisting of at least one resident
and one management staff person, who shall be available, if so requested,
to engage in a dialogue with neighbors.
•
u
Such committee shall convene and meet with neighbors on an as-needed
basis for the purpose of discussing issues related to ongoing apartment
operations, maintenance or management of the apartment project but only
to the extent that such issues have an influence on promoting
neighborhood compatibility.
If you have any questions regarding this action by the Planning and Zoning Board,
please feel free to contact our office at 221-6750.
