Dear Resident:
On Monday, November 17, 2003, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Spirit of Joy
Lutheran Church, 4501 South Lemay Avenue, the City of Fort Collins Current
Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss
a development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is referred to as
Sam's Club Expansion at the Harmony Market Shopping Center — 4700
Boardwalk Drive.
As proposed, the applicants are requesting to expand the Sam's Club retail store
by approximately 30,000 square feet. The expansion would be along the west
side of the building.
The expansion includes shifting the existing automotive bays for the tire
mounting area from the north elevation to the west elevation expansion area.
There would be a re -configuration and a reduction in parking on the west side of
the site. There would be exterior remodeling on the north elevation as well.
The building is located at the northeast corner of Boardwalk Drive and Oak Ridge
Drive. It is part of the Harmony Market Shopping Center.
On May 19, 2003, the project went through the City's Conceptual Review
process. Copies of the comments from this meeting are available.
The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between
occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected
property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor
of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
Sincerely:
