The purpose of these inspections is to release the Temporary Certificates of Occupancy and sign off on the Final Certificate of Occupancy. The City is not prepared to release these two sites for Final Certificate of Occupancy due to discrepancies between the approved plans and the constructed facilities. It is our understanding that, as of this writing, Total Petroleum has arranged to extend the time periods so the facilities may continue to operate under the Temporary Certificates of Occupancy. Based on our recent phone call, it has been agreed that Total Petroleum would remedy the following areas of discrepancy: Raintree Village A. Under canopy lights shall be equipped with a shield so that the illumination pattern is down -directional. B. Building -mounted lights (both c-store and carwash) shall also be equipped with a shield so that the illumination pattern is down -directional. 2. Harmony Market A. It is Staffs desire to help you obtain the necessary Final Certificates of Occupancy. As we agreed on the phone, Staff is willing to allow the pole -mounted lights which do not feature down -directional fixtures, nor high pressure sodium as the light source. Hopefully, the lighting modifications can be made expeditiously. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or to arrange for a site inspection.
