HomeMy WebLinkAboutOAK HILL APARTMENTS PUD - PRELIMINARY - 54-87L - CORRESPONDENCE - RESPONSE TO CITIZENDecember 17, 1993 Mr. Leonard_ Dow Department of Housing and Urban Development Architecture, Engineering, and Cost Branch 1405 Curtis Street Denver, CO 80202 RE: Oak Hill Apartments, Parcel Q Oak Cottonwood Farm Dear Mr. Dow: The purpose of this letter is to explain the allowable land uses and current zoning on Parcel Q of the Oak Cottonwood Farm Overall Development Plan. This site is generally located at the southeast corner of Boardwalk Drive and Oak Ridge Drive. As you are aware, the W.W., Reynolds Company will be applying to the City of Fort Collins for approval of an apartment project on this subject site. The subject site is Parcel Q of the Oak Cottonwood Farm Overall Development Plan. This Overall Development Plan has been approved by the City of Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board and is on permanent file and available for public review. This parcel is designated as "Business Services and/or Multi -Family Residential.11 Therefore, the request for apartments on Parcel Q of the Oak Cottonwood Farm Overall Development Plan would be in compliance with the City -approved plans. The parcel also carries the underlying zoning of R-P, Planned Residential. This zone allows any land use located on a Planned Unit Development plan as defined, processed and approved according to the City of Fort Collins Land Development Guidance System. Therefore, under the current zoning, the proposed apartment project would be allowed to be submitted and reviewed as a Planned Unit Development.
