HomeMy WebLinkAboutUPPER MEADOW AT MIRAMONT PUD - PRELIMINARY - 54-87G - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGDevelopnat Services Planning Department Dear Resident: On Wednesday, April 29, 1992, from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M., at the Evangelical Covenant Church*, 4825 South Lemay Avenue, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss two proposed developments in your neighborhood. The projects are know as 1. Cottonwood Farm, Amended Overall Development Plan and 2. Pit Stop Convenience Center, Preliminary P.U.D. The Cottonwood Farm Overall Development Plan (formerly referred to as a "Master Plan"), is a 271 acre parcel bounded by Harmony Road, Lemay Avenue, Southridge Greens Blvd. (extended) and the east line of Fairway Estates and Fossil Creek Meadows. The request to amend includes the area south of Oak Ridge Drive, and a small parcel east of the Front Range Baptist Church. The amendments are related to modifying the residential densities (south of Oak Ridge Drive), and converting "retail/office" to "auto -related" (east of the church). The second project is known as Pit Stop Convenience Center and is located on two acres east of the Baptist Church at the southwest corner of Harmony and Boardwalk. This P.U.D. request includes a convenience store, gasoline sales, gas canopy, and three -bay auto lube facility. The two projects are being pursued by separate entities. It is only by coincidence that these two projects have entered the development review process at,the same time. As a matter of efficiency, the projects will be presented at one neighborhood meeting, as separate items. Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your input on this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important element in the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, written comments are welcome. This letter has been sent as a courtesy to all property owners of record within. 500 feet of the area based on current County Assessor's records.
