Mr . Ted Shepard :
Thank you for the information sent to my residence regarding the
proposed project known as Builders Square.
I am entirely opposed to any more commercial development in the
area just east of Pace Warehouse, bordered by Harmony and Lemay.
Pace was bad enough, but anything in the area described would be
" in my back yard" . I live very close to Harmony Road and the
traffic along with the associated noise level is dramatically
reducing the quality of life for my family. Why not a green area,
to break up the distasteful warehouse style buildings that are
being allowed along this potentially attractive corridor?
You see, Mr. Shepard, too much is being allowed to be built far
too close to private residences in this area. Allowing this and
more (Pace) only serves to "uglify" Fort Collins' one remaining
chance at an appealing entrance to the city. Perhaps a drive into
Denver from Northglenn would be enlightening.
I believe that the Planning and Zoning Board and the City
Planning Staff would be remiss in not thoroughly scrutinizing the
ramifications of this senseless direction.
Sincerely,
