Mr. Lloyd Walker
Planning & Zoning Commission Member
c/o Planning Department
P.O. Box 580
Fort Collins, CO 80522
Dear Mr. Walker:
Although I was unable to visit with you the evening of the Planning
Commission I wanted to follow up with you regarding your questions on
parcel IG and 1H of the Master Plan for Oak Farm Inc.
I wanted to personally assure you that G.T. Land on behalf of its client
Oak Farm Inc. is committed to following through with the City the County
and the Fairway Estates neighborhood group to limit the use of those
parcels to residential. Eldon Ward of Cityscape Urban Design, our
planning firm made that commitment publicly on our behalf at the Public
Hearing but I felt it important to let you know that as President of G.T.
Land I am committed to seeing that it does happen. I assure you we will
work with whatever agencies necessary to limit the use of Palmer Drive and
to place the appropriate zoning restrictions on those parcels in order to
mitigate the issues brought up in the public hearing.
G.T. Land and its clients have a long term commitment to the City of Fort
Collins and we will continue to work with you and other planning
commission members to pursue planning that has a long term positive impact
on the Fort Collins community.
Sincerely,
Michael S. Byrne,
President
