RE: Case Number: PDR210015
Title: Montava Phase E
Engineering/Survey: TST

Parcel Number(s):
Boxelder Sanitation District (BSD) has reviewed the proposed project identified as:
Montava Phase E Utility Plans
The District hereby advises as follows:
There is no objection to this proposal.
Responses required to comments below.
The District will respond at the hearing date of ______________.
Comments:
1) The sewer that is shown as existing installed by Phase G was not included in the
Phase G plans by Martin and Martin and has not been reviewed. The design needs to be
completed and submitted. The Sanitary Sewer Study completed by Martin and Martin
calls out for a 15-inch sewer not a 10-inch. This line will need be located in a 30-foot
dedicated easement, where it is not located in public ROW and will need to be shown on
the plat and referenced as separate document.
2) Standalone easements will be required for all sewers not located in public ROW’s.
Sewers in “Tracts” will require easements.
3) Does line SS-01(10-inch) need to extend north across Timberline? Provide
information on where sewers are planned to be extended and provide information on
proposed flows for those extensions. This line is only 11-feet deep. Provide information
that it will be able to service Phase E and the future sewer extensions to the north.
4) Provide information on the line in Montava Drive on what it will serve and the
capacities that will be generated.
5) Relocate any services that are shown connecting to manholes. All services need to
connect the sewer.
6) Show dimensions between water and sewer to assure the 10-foot separation is
achieved.
7) Include Boxelder Standard Construction notes on the plans.
8) On the grading plans the District’s existing 21-inch sewer is shown. In many areas
new features will be construction adjacent to or on top of the sewer (Sheet 9). It will be
necessary to provide information to show that we can get access to all manholes with the
District’s equipment including large vac-truck and possible construction equipment. This
access should allow for access in all weather conditions.
9) Provide Boxelder signature block on appropriate sewer sheets.
10) We will review additional information as it is made available.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Brian Zick, P.E.
