Existing Tree Removal Feasibility Letter
This letter is intended to supplement the Mitigation Plan included in The Fischer Property Plan
submittal. There are three (17) species of trees on site including: Russian Olive, Pinyon Pine, Green Ash,
Buckeye, Box Elder Maple, Crabapple, Siberian Elm, Spruce, Juniper, Silver Maple, Pear, American Elm,
Austrian Pine, White Poplar, Cottonwood, Blue Spruce, and Hackberry.
As depicted on the mitigation plan, a total of thirty-nine (39) trees are to be removed. The reason for
tree removal is due to the proposed development of The Fischer Properties. The following trees are
proposed to be removed: Tree #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #14, #15, #16, #17,
#18, #19, #20, #21, #22, #23, #24, #25, #26, #27, #28, #29, #31, #32, #33, #34, #35, #36, #37 #38, #43,
and #44 (as associated with the Tree Mitigation List on the Tree Mitigation Plan of this submittal).
Further explanation for the removal of these trees is found below.

1. A Russian Olive is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with proposed drive.
2. A Pinyon Pine is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with proposed drive.
3. A Green Ash is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with proposed multi-family
building footprint.
4. A Buckeye is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with proposed multi-family building
footprint.
5. A Box Elder Maple is to be removed due site plan conflicts with proposed multi-family
building footprint.
6. A Crabapple is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with proposed multi-family
building footprint.
7. A Box Elder/Siberian Elm is to be removed due to site plan conflicts with proposed multi-
family building footprint.

44. A Crabapple is to be removed due to conflicts with proposed utilities.
A more detailed depiction of the location of trees which are being removed in relation to the proposed
site plan can be found on the Mitigation Plan included in this submittal. To mitigate for the removed
trees which have been deemed to provide significant value by the City Forester, cash in lieu will be
provided on top of replacement trees at the increased size per Division 3.2.1 (F)(1) of the Fort Collins
Land Use Code.
