Dear Mr. Ward:
At the regular meeting of the Fort Collins Planning and Zoning
Board, April 22, 1991, the Board unanimously approved
Arapahoe/Mountain Ridge Farm, Amended Master Plan, subject to the
following condition:
The designation of a convenience center be indicated on Parcel 1-C
as an alternative use. The ultimate determination of the location
of the convenience center shall consider factors relating to
pedestrian safety, particularly for students attending the two
neighborhood schools. It is a primary concern of the Planning and
Zoning Board, given the attractiveness of a convenience center for
the student population, that school officials be consulted and
measures be taken to promote safety.
It is. the desire of the Board that a report be made regarding this
issue at the May 20, 1991 regular meeting, in.conjunction with the
discussion of Arapahoe Farm P.U.D., First Filing, Preliminary.
