Re: Chaparral PUD staff comments on Dec. 18, 1987 note addressed to Mr. Herlihey
Dear Ms. DeBesche,
#14 and 15 tree plantings in Tract A have been placed in their
respective positions to provide an additional screening from Shield St. In
addition, the number of Crabapple and Evergreen trees works out such that
each lot will have at least one plant for visual aesthetics.
The maintenance of the trees should not be a problem because great care
will be taken to choose varieties that are proven to be low maintenance items.
The landscape development crew is aware of the grading that is to take
place. The plantings and rock mulch along Shields will remain on top the burro.
Grass will be used to hold slopes. Trees will not be planted in the bottom of
the basin where it may remain soggy. The landscape sinage for the corner of
Casa Grande Blvd. and Shields St. will be placed to capitalize on the grade,
not hidden by the grade.
Sincerely,
I/A, L.-VC. a ,,,
