Mr. Marvin Barstow, a representa- tive of The Land Exchange; Mr. Dennis Vetter, an affected property owner.; and Mrs. Chris Hatch, an affected property owner, were present. Among the questions and concerns raised were whether this re -zoning, because it is for a project in the future, would allow any other use of the property, such as an electrical substation, or some other not specified designation. I assured them that because this was a specific re -zoning application, for an underground treated water storage tank, that any alteration from this purpose would require another re -zoning petition. It was also a concern that the artistic conception of this tank would be adhered to or that the final design would be reviewed by them before any unsightly monolith was constructed. I explained that our proposal included the submittal to appropriate approval agencies prior to construction of detailed design plans and that those agencies would be responsible for the review and acceptance of the design. Photographs of the artist's conception are enclosed with this letter. At the conclusion of the meeting, all present.were in approval of the re -zoning.
