THE CSU SPACE WILL BE ASSIGNED TO RESEARCHERS TO CONDUCT SPONSORED RESEARCH FOR INDUSTRY ANDGOVERNMENT (LOCAL, CITY, STATE AND FEDERAL) SPONSORS. THESE SPACES WILL NOT BE USED FOR TRADITIONAL EDUCATIONALFUNCTIONS SUCH AS CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION OR LABORATORY INSTRUCTION. WHILE UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES (RESEARCHERS,STAFF, AND STUDENT EMPLOYEES) WILL BE USING THE SPACE THEY WILL NOT BE ENGAGED IN INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES.GOVERNMENT SERVICES FACILITIES INCLUDE ESSENTIAL STRUCTURES SUCH AS DORMITORIES, OFFICES, CLASSROOMS, ANDLABORATORIES FOR PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION FACILITIES. POWERHOUSE 2 WILL NOT BE USED FOR DORMITORY HOUSING. NORWILL IT HAVE INSTRUCTIONAL CLASSROOMS AND THE LABORATORY AND OFFICE SPACES WILL BE USED SOLELY FOR SPONSOREDRESEARCH ACTIVITIES. MUST BE ANCHORED TO PREVENT FLOTATION.3.CRITICAL FACILITIES ARE PROHIBITED IN THE FLOODPLAIN, INCLUDING HAZARDOUS MATERIAL, GOVERNMENT SERIVCES, ESSENTIALSERVICES, AND AT-RISK POPULATION CRITICAL FACILITIES.
