1.THE SIZE, TYPE AND LOCATION OF ALL KNOWN UNDERGROUND UTILITIES ARE APPROXIMATE WHEN SHOWN ON THESE DRAWINGS. IT SHALLBE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THE EXISTENCE OF ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES IN THE AREA OF THE WORK.BEFORE COMMENCING NEW CONSTRUCTION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES ANDSHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL UNKNOWN UNDERGROUND UTILITIES.

8.CONFIRM HORIZONTAL LOCATION OF WATER TO EXISTING LOCATIONS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. CONTACT DESIGN ENGINEER WITH ANYDISCREPANCIES.
9.MINIMUM SEWER SLOPE IS 1.04% (18" / 1') FOR 6" DIAMETER AND 2.08% (14" / 1') FOR 4" DIAMETER.
10.CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE GAS, ELECTRIC AND TELEPHONE CABLE SERVICES.
11.THE PLUMBING CONTRACTOR SHALL TERMINATE UTILITY LATERALS 5' OUTSIDE OF BUILDING UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. EXACT LOCATIONS(HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL) OF ALL UTILITY CONNECTIONS INTO THE PROPOSED BUILDING SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH THE APPROVEDARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS.

SANITITE) OUTSIDE OF THE R.O.W. SHALL BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE BY THE ENGINEER. ALL JOINTS SHALL
BE 'WATERTIGHT' USING APPROPRIATE GASKETS OR JOINT WRAPS (PER ASTM C443 FOR RCP AND PER ASTM
F477 / D3212 FOR PLASTIC PIPE).
4. ALL STORM MANHOLES LOCATED IN SIDEWALKS AND TRAILS SHALL HAVE PEDESTRIAN RATED LIDS.
5. MANHOLE DIAMETERS SHOWN ARE PER CITY STANDARDS. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THAT MANHOLE
DIAMETERS ARE SUFFICIENT FOR INSTALLATION (i.e., WITHIN PRE-CASTER'S TOLERANCES, ETC.) OR 1' FROM
PIPE O.D. TO PIPE O.D. ON MANHOLE INSIDE FACE.
6. PROVIDE WATER TIGHT JOINTS PER ASTM C443 AT ALL CIRCULAR STORM PIPE.
7. MANHOLES SHALL BE SHAPED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. REFER TO PLAN VIEW FOR SHAPED MANHOLES.

13. THE MINIMUM COVER OVER WATER LINES IS 5 FEET AND THE MAXIMUM COVER IS 6 FEET UNLESS OTHERWISE
NOTED IN THE PLANS AND APPROVED BY THE WATER UTILITY.
14. WATER MAINS SHALL BE C900 PVC WITH TRACER WIRE.
15. ALL WATER APPURTENANCES TO BE MECHANICALLY RESTRAINED. SEE NORTH WELD COUNTY WATER
DISTRICT VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL BEND RESTRAINT DETAILS ON SHEET C8.2.
17. WATER TAPS SHALL BE 1" TO METER PIT AND 3/4" METER PIT TO RESIDENCE, FOR DOUBLE METER
CONDITIONS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
