No. 2006-0044720 – 40’ Easement Greeley Transmission Line No. 3 was installed in 1952-53 without a dedicated easement in the current project area; as such, the City of Greeley has a prescriptive easement of sufficient width for maintenance and repair of the line. As a part of this project, it would be beneficial to all parties to define an easement centered on the existing transmission line. This easement should be defined by separate instrument and then be referred to on the plat and construction drawings. Until this easement is defined, drawings must refer to the prescriptive easement as outlined in the comments for the plat and construction drawings.
