Floodplain Comments – 8-1-2022
Plat
1. The note needs to reference the Whitewater Park LOMRs as the source of the floodplain
linework in addition to the Original Map panel. Please include the FEMA Case number and
effective date of the LOMRs. There are two LOMRs - the second one corrected the islands on
the map. The map is not clear that the entire site is in the 100-year floodplain - it seems to
show the island is the part that is in. Please clarify through notes about the areas that are in the
various Floodplain Zones. Also, the Zone X Shaded is due to the 500-year floodplain not due to
levee. – REPEAT COMMENT
Floodplain Plan
2. For Hearing: Modify Note 10 to include a note regarding all items that will be elevated to the
RFPE: Transformer, Yards, EV Charging stations, Solar panel components, elevator, HVAC,
Emergency Vehicle Access Gate, other electrical and mechanical, etc.. Include any details from
the Response to Comments. Statement added
3. For Hearing: The yard elevations must be shown on the Floodplain plan. – REPEAT COMMENT
Yard elevation has been added.
4. For Hearing: The figure in the bottom right on the Floodplain Plan is not correct. Please put the
actual finished floor elevation for item C in the table. Label the RFPE on the figure. – REPEAT
COMMENT. Finish Floor Elevation for item C has been updated, label has been included
5. Note 9 - Please add to this note to clarify that other components (generator, elevator, EV
Charging stations, solar panel equipment, Emergency Vehicle Access Gate, etc.) will also be
required to be surveyed to show they are above the regulatory flood protection elevation prior
to issuance of the CO. Statement added
6. Note 11 – Please add a statement that anchoring details will be supplied at the time of the
floodplain use permit. Statement added
7. Note 12 – Please add details from Response to Comments regarding various elevator
components. Details will be required as part of final plans and Floodplain Use Permit. Detail will
be included in final Plans
8. Include a note regarding Yards and the design components (walls, gates, etc.) as described in the
Response to Comments. Details must be shown on final plans and with floodplain use permit.

Drainage Report
1. For discussing the Whitewater Park LOMR, see comments regarding the Plat and documenting
the Whitewater Park LOMRs case numbers and dates. Completed
2. Please correct floodplain notes and Figure 5 based on comments on the plans. Completed
