Dear Tom:
This is to request a variance for minimum lot size for the two lots
in the proposed Gallegos Subdivision. When a 20.00 foot dedication of
right—of—way for North Taft Hill Road is removed from the lots, each
lot is 150 square feet short of the minimum 6,000 square feet required.
An alternative would be to require only a 16.67 foot dedication which
would allow the lots to have an area of 6,000 square feet.
On behalf of the owner, Arthur Gallegos, I am asking you to review
this request to see if there is a solution to the problem. It seems
somewhat unfair that the dedication prohibits Art from carrying out his
plans.
